You don't need to be experienced to be a gardener. To start a garden is to start a grand experiment. You are playing with light, soil. color, leaves, thousands of tiny processes and variables. Sometimes things don't flourish. This is a good moment to be curious about what your plants need, and be so kind to yourself. If you are new to plant parenting or a seasoned gardener - it can happen to us all! If you consistently feel overwhelmed and anxious about your plants - that's a sign you need more time, and more learning to care for them well. Gardening is a science experiment and an art form all at the same time. The eye to see what plants would look beautiful where - and imagine the flowers all woven together is the art. The science is knowing soils and light and placement - and also what to add or take away from soils. So if your plants aren't thriving yet - let's talk, they are telling you something - we may just need a new way to read the signs.
